Home nurse in Madrid
A nurse at your home, today
Wound care, injections, vaccinations, blood tests… whatever you need, wherever you're staying. And we speak English.
Why care at home
Healing at home is better medicine
Travelling, waiting rooms and a whole day organised around one appointment weigh most when you have the least strength. At home, all of that disappears and only the care remains.
- 01
You recover sooner
The body rests better in its own bed. And rest is half the treatment.
- 02
Away from infections
No waiting rooms full of viruses just when you're most vulnerable.
- 03
No queues, no travelling
The visit adapts to your day, not the other way round. Evenings and holidays too.
- 04
A nurse who knows you
The same professional at every visit, with follow-up after each one.

Frequently asked questions
The questions we get asked before booking
Straight answers, no small print. For everything else, a nurse is on the other side of WhatsApp — in English.
Do you speak English?
Yes — you can write to us, book your visit and be cared for entirely in English, from the first WhatsApp message to the follow-up after the visit.
How fast can you come?
We're available 24/7, every day of the year, and many visits happen the same day. Message us on WhatsApp, tell us your area and what you need, and we'll confirm the first available time in minutes.
Do I need a prescription?
For prescription medication, yes — you provide the medication prescribed by your doctor and we administer it. We bring all the certified single-use material. Vaccines are the exception: we take care of those from start to finish, and before the visit we tell you exactly what's needed.
How much does a home nurse cost?
It depends on the type of care, how often you need it and your area, so we give you a fixed quote before we start, with a free consultation and no obligation. Tell us your case on WhatsApp and we reply in minutes.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole Community of Madrid — the capital and towns such as Pozuelo, Las Rozas, Majadahonda, Alcobendas or Getafe, among others. Tell us where you're staying and we'll confirm availability.
Will I always see the same nurse?
Yes, whenever possible — we assign a nurse to your case so she knows your story and you don't have to repeat it, and she follows up with you after every visit.
Is the service discreet?
Completely. Our nurses always arrive in plain clothes — no uniforms, no marked cars. Nobody needs to know you're receiving care at home; confidentiality is part of the service.
I don’t have Spanish public healthcare. Can I book anyway?
Yes. duocare is a private service: you don’t need a Spanish health card, a local GP or any registration — just tell us what you need. After the visit we give you an itemised invoice, which is what most travel and international health insurers ask for when you claim the cost back.
I’ve been discharged from a hospital in Madrid and all the paperwork is in Spanish.
Send us the discharge report as it is. Our nurses work with Spanish clinical documents every day: they follow the instructions exactly — wound care, injections, medication times — and at each visit explain to you in English what the plan says and how your recovery is going.
Do you come to hotels and holiday rentals?
Wherever you’re staying: your home, a relative’s flat, a hotel room or a rental, anywhere in the Community of Madrid. Tell us the address when you write and the nurse comes to you — discreetly, in plain clothes.
